My thoughts: I absolutely love this foundation. I have oily/combination skin and this is the only foundation that keeps my oil in control. For those who are a bit more dry, make sure you moisturize or it may feel dry. I find this foundation to be medium buildable coverage with a natural matte finish. I use the 190 brush (repromoted with the release of this foundation) and I find it amazing for moving the product around. Since this foundation dries very quickly, I find it best to use Fix + with it since it will give you a bit more play time.

For reference, I am a NC25 and I wear shade 2.0. I have also included a shade match chart. The coloring for shade 2.0 is much less yellow/orange which is great for most people. I find that Studio Fix Fluid can be a little too "golden" for me. I love how the shade range is so huge so I'm sure everyone can find their match!

So what makes this foundation unique is the fact that it really does self-adjust to match your skin tone! I'm not saying that if you're an NC45, you can wear shade 1.0 and it'll magically match you. If you let the foundation sit on your face for about a minute, you can actually see the foundation blend into your skin. This is a great product if you range one or two shades up or down throughout the year because you could probably get away with using one shade.

I've tested this foundation for about a week now. What I've noticed is that the lasting power is awesome. It kept me pretty matte throughout the day with no touch-ups. What's crazy is that I didn't even have to touch up once. This foundation is practically weightless and feels like you're not wearing anything. I highly recommend this foundation for every skin type and skin tone.  This is truly a new MAC gem that I'll be loving for a long time.

Lastly, I love how sleek the foundation bottle is. Matchmaster is packaged in a taller, more slender bottle. It also has 0.2 oz more product than a traditional Studio Fix Fluid Foundation.

FOTD: Cindy Sherman/Fall Color Collection Inspired

So I decided to do a look inspired by the Cindy Sherman collection from MAC without actually using all the products (except the lipstick). This was loosely based on one of the face charts that I had seen from the collection.

I did use bottom lashes which I never do. I thought it was quite fitting with the exaggerated and theatrical feel from the collection.

I was in a bit of a hurry but I tried to achieve maximum results with limited time. Ironically, I ended up using a lot of products!! Haha!

FOTD: Navajo

So I am in love with some of my recent clothing purchases from Urban Outfitters. I wore this look the other day on my day off. Other than the fact that it was a freezing Autumn day, I really enjoyed this look! Let me know what you think.

By the way, I was thinking of doing some Outfit of the Day posts. What are your thoughts on that? For those who do outfit posts, do you enjoy it?

FOTD: Prince Noir dupe

So I couldn't get my hands on Prince Noir Lipstick so I faked it and used Media Lipstick and Nightmoth Lip Pencil instead. I'm so in love with dark lips these days, it's kind of ridiculous. Haha. What did you guys pick up from MAC Me Over?
