Would I buy it again? Yes
Initial Thoughts: I was recommended this product by a sales associate at Macy's. I told her I needed a product to help reduce shine in my face that I can use underneath my makeup. She told me that she had never tried this product before but a huge number of customers loved it. She was nice enough to give me some samples of it. I came back to buy the full size product.
Pros:
- Noticeably reduces shine
- Makes pores less noticeable
- Lasts for at least 3-6 hours
- Pump on packaging makes it convenient
Cons:
- Steep price tag
- Doesn't "reduce" pores but fills them in so makeup goes on better
Overall:
I am actually pleasantly surprised with this product. When I first heard about it, I thought it was going to be like every "primer" in the world and claim to do this and that. The texture of it is kinda silky and slippery (reminds me of Smashbox primer). I expected it to be colorless but it has a slightly nude color that blends out (sort of like how UDPP is nude but blends out evenly). The nude color can be used on pretty much any skin tone. I apply about 1.5-2 pumps of this after I moisturize and before I apply my foundation. When I use MAC Pro Longwear with this, I don't need to touch up at all which is quite amazing. I even went to work out at the gym with my full face on (I did it for this review) and only my nose got a little bit shiny. My cheeks and forehead were still matte! This definitely is one of my favorite finds recently. If you guys decide to try this out, please let me know how you like it!
Disclaimer: Like always, my reviews are honest. I was not paid to do this review nor was the product given to me for free.
