MAC 188 Brush - I absolutely LOVE this brush. It's my HG face brush. This is practically your all-in-one blush/foundation brush. It's small enough to apply blush.

MAC Copperplate Eye Shadow - This is seriously one of the most underrated MAC eyeshadows ever. It's a unique flat greyish taupe color perfect for a smokey eye or a neutral daytime look. When I saw this at the counter, I just thought it was a boring grey color but I'm so glad I got one because it's absolutely amazing.

MAC Indian Ink Eye Shadow (PRO) - As you might know, I'm addicted to the MAC Pro store. It's like a candy shop for makeup lovers. This is a very pretty, dark purple color which is great for a dark smokey eye but can be used on your outer corners to deepen up any color.

MAC Coral Eye Shadow (PRO) - This is the most amazing coral color ever. I use it on my crease, lid, or cheeks! I have a feeling I'll be hitting pan on this one in the near future. If you're looking for a fun spring color, I highly recommend this one.

MAC Cubic Blush - This blush looks really boring and light in the pan but it's totally buildable. It gives me a healthy, fresh glow that isn't overpowering. The tinge of pink gives my face a bit of color especially when I don't get enough sleep the night before.

What's In My Purse

Hi everyone! I'm pretty sure y'all are sick of seeing my big head in the FOTD posts so I decided to switch it up! I always love reading about what people have in their purses (I guess I'm nosey!!) so I'm doing my own "What's In My Purse" post. Enjoy and let me know if you guys have any comments or questions! Muuuahh!

Wallet: I got this baby from Forever 21 for about $6. What a steal!! It's breaking apart slowly but I love how it hold a lot of stuff! And if you know me, you know I have a million receipts, coins, (one dollar) bills, cards in there!!

Coin Purse: My mom used to use this coin purse when she was younger so it is very sentimental to me. I love the design of it; it reminds me of a designer coin purse (although it isn't).

Business Card Holder: I love this thing! I got it from Forever 21 (I know, right?) and it was actually meant to hold jewelry but let me tell you, it's PERFECT for business cards. I have personal makeup artist business cards always on hand in case I need to pass them out.

Dentyne Ice: Bad breath isn't sexy so I always gotta have fresh breath!! Dentyne is my favorite because it lasts a lot longer and has a super strong minty taste. Love.

Viva Glam V: This is my go-to lipstick for everyday wear. I'm almost done so I need to pick up a new one! I love this because it is the perfect peachy pink with a really pretty glossy finish. Perfect for any skin tone.

Random Card Pouch: I store my excess gift cards and whatnot in this little black pouch since I overstuff my regular wallet! I would die if I lost this baby because there are at least 20 gift cards in here! I absolutely hate gift cards because they take up SO much space and I always forget to use them! GRR!

Pen: Don't you hate it when you need to use a pen and there isn't one in sight? That's why I always make sure I have a pen in my purse. You know, in case I bump into any celebs and they wanna sign my arm. LOL just kidding! Ha as if I knew any celebs...anyway...

And I leave you with a picture of my beautiful purse. My one true love...hehehe (shh, don't tell my bf!) I kid!!

Tutorial: Brows (Request)

Hi everyone! So I'm very excited to debut my first tutorial EVER. Sorry it took a while to get this up but it's finally here! Better late than never right? I hope this helps someone out. Let me know how I can improve on my tutorial. I plan on doing more tutorials in the future!

Warning: I am showing the world my bare brows here so bear with me. They're NOT cute in the morning. Thanks for understanding. LOL.

Products Used:
Translucent Powder (Maybelline Mineral Power)
Eyebrow Pencil (MAC Lingering)
Brown Eyeshadow (MAC Showstopper)
Stiff Angled Brush (MAC 208)
Flat Synthetic Brush (MAC 242)
Concealer (MAC Select Cover-Up)

This is my bare brow with just a little bit of translucent powder dusted on top.
Photobucket

Using a brow pencil (I'm using MAC Lingering), you wanna outline the bottom of the brows. Follow your natural arch. Be careful not to start to far in or to far out. There is no rule about where to start, just make sure your eyebrows frame your face.
Photobucket

Outline the top portion of your brows.
Photobucket

Starting from the middle of your brows, fill in your brows with quick, short strokes with an angled brush. I'm using the MAC 208 brush. Here I'm using MAC Showstopper eyeshadow. Use a color that is 2 shades lighter than your hair color if you're a brunette and 2 shades darker if you're a blonde.
Photobucket

Drag the brush toward the beginning of your brows. Don't add anymore product on the brush because you want the beginning of the brows to look fuzzy and not super defined.
Photobucket

Dot some concealer under your brows.
Photobucket

Using the MAC 242 or any flat concealer brush (synthetic fibers), apply it directly under your brows. This will further define your brows and shape your arch. This is the secret to clean, beautiful brows! (This trick works well if you don't have time to tweeze and are in a rush.)
Photobucket

Add some finishing touch ups and TA DA! You're all done!
Photobucket

Admire your new, beautiful brows!!

Ask Me Anything!!

Tagged: 10 Things That Make Me Happy

Thank you Khris for tagging me! Go check out her blog!

"Post 10 things that make you happy, try to do at least one of them today, link back to the person who awarded you and pass along for up to ten people."

Family - They're the ones that are always there for me through thick and thin. They don't judge me but rather, they support me no matter what.

My Boyfriend - He's the sweetest guy I've ever met. We have such an amazing connection; it's indescribable.

True Friends - Only time can tell you who your true friends are. Friends come and go but only your best friends stick with you by your side. You guys never cease to amaze me!

Food - I have a love affair with food. It's a good and bad thing. I'm trying to drop 10 pounds but my love for food has made it hard. I love all types of food and am willing to try new things! I am one of the least picky eaters you'll ever meet! I wish I could eat all day and not get full! Is that sad?

Makeup - Obviously I love makeup hence the beauty blog. Haha I think I love makeup more than the average makeup lover. Seriously, I love trying new brands and learning new technique. I think it's such an underrated form of art that most people don't understand. It's not only about making yourself look your best but also manipulating the look of the face. Love it and can't live without it.

Traveling - I haven't been to that many different places in the world but one day I wanna fill up my entire passport!! I've been to a couple places in the US, Western Europe, Mexico, Canada, and China.  I love it when people are open to learning about different cultures and trying new things.

Fashion - This is another passion of mine. I have a looooot of clothes, it's kind of ridiculous! However, my taste in clothing changes faster than a baby's diaper so I have a lot of stuff that I don't like anymore. BUT I end up liking it again like 2 years later so it's all good. Fashion recycles itself so always keep all your clothes because you never know when it'll be in style again.

Music - I've been playing the piano since I was 7 (stopped after high school). At first, it felt like such a chore because my mom would force me to practice, but I eventually developed a love for it. Though I haven't played the piano in years, I wanna pick it up again and teach on the side. Aside from classical music, I love to listen to all types of music. My favorites include Hip Hop, Electronica, Country, Classic Rock, Oldies, and R&B. I love anything with a catchy beat and meaningful lyrics.

Sports - You may not believe this but I was a tomboy most of my life. I have two older brothers so they taught me everything I needed to know about throwing and catching a football, playing basketball, tackling, etc. Haha I was trained well.  I used to play basketball religiously in middle school. However, my parents wanted me to focus on piano so I wasn't able to play on the school sports teams. I've done swimming for high school and I love playing volleyball for fun. My new thing is snowboarding except it's pretty dangerous. I hit my head so hard the last time I went and it feels like it still hurts. Boo!

Puppies - I love puppies. OMG they're so adorable! Enough said.

Review: Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo With Oat Milk - Aerosol Spray

Gentle Dry Shampoo With Oat Milk - Aerosol Spray

What it is:
A dry shampoo with an aerosol pump dispenser.

What it does:
Klorane Gentle Shampoo with Oat Milk lets you clean hair without water. This dry shampoo is based on softening, protective oat extract, cyclodextrins, and natural polysaccharides (micronised powders with very oil-absorbing properties) to clean the hair without washing, as often as required. The hair regains volume and lightness within minutes. Quick and practical to use, it's recommended for those on-the-go.

What else you need to know:
It's hypoallergenic and formulated to minimize the risk of allergic reaction.

How to prevent clogging:
-Shake can well prior to and during each usage. If this is not done, solids that fall to the bottom of the can travel through the tube and clog the valve.
-If the product becomes clogged or does not spray, take off the actuator (nozzle) and wash it with hot water.
-Dry well and place nozzle back on the stem.
-Shake can and depress the actuator upside-down. If it sprays it means the valve is not clogged. If it does not spray the valve is clogged.
-If the problem persists gently squeeze the can. If it collapses easily there is no gas, meaning the product has been completely used.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Dyes
- Phthalates
- GMO
- Triclosan

My Review:
Product: 4.5 out of 5
Packaging: 4 out of 5
Quality: 4 out of 5
Overall: 4 out of 5
Price: $18
Would I buy again? Yes

PROS:
- Natural formula without harmful ingredients
- Easy and quick to use
- Great for traveling (going on vacation, camping)
- Affordable

CONS:
- Runs out quicker than I wanted it to
- Not as clean as if you washed with shampoo and water

Overall:
Generally speaking, this is a great dry shampoo. I've tried a few types but I always go back to this one. The scent is so amazingly fresh; I just wanna smell my hair all day!! The only major con I can think of is that, my bottle is already half way gone. Funny thing is, I've only used it a handful of times (several sprays each time). But at the same time, this product is less than $20 which is very affordable during the hard economic times.
I'm happy about the way this product cleans my hair. It's not gonna clean it as well as shampoo and water but this is better than nothing when you don't have time to wash your hair or access to a shower. I have naturally oily hair (it gets oily in one day or less) but try to only wash my hair every other day so this product is perfect for the day in between. You can find this at Sephora.com or at Sephora stores.

Disclaimer:
I was not paid to do this review. I bought this product with my own money. I am not affiliated with Sephora or Klorane.
