Tutorial: Brows (Request)

Hi everyone! So I'm very excited to debut my first tutorial EVER. Sorry it took a while to get this up but it's finally here! Better late than never right? I hope this helps someone out. Let me know how I can improve on my tutorial. I plan on doing more tutorials in the future!

Warning: I am showing the world my bare brows here so bear with me. They're NOT cute in the morning. Thanks for understanding. LOL.

Products Used:
Translucent Powder (Maybelline Mineral Power)
Eyebrow Pencil (MAC Lingering)
Brown Eyeshadow (MAC Showstopper)
Stiff Angled Brush (MAC 208)
Flat Synthetic Brush (MAC 242)
Concealer (MAC Select Cover-Up)

This is my bare brow with just a little bit of translucent powder dusted on top.

Using a brow pencil (I'm using MAC Lingering), you wanna outline the bottom of the brows. Follow your natural arch. Be careful not to start to far in or to far out. There is no rule about where to start, just make sure your eyebrows frame your face.

Outline the top portion of your brows.

Starting from the middle of your brows, fill in your brows with quick, short strokes with an angled brush. I'm using the MAC 208 brush. Here I'm using MAC Showstopper eyeshadow. Use a color that is 2 shades lighter than your hair color if you're a brunette and 2 shades darker if you're a blonde.

Drag the brush toward the beginning of your brows. Don't add anymore product on the brush because you want the beginning of the brows to look fuzzy and not super defined.

Dot some concealer under your brows.

Using the MAC 242 or any flat concealer brush (synthetic fibers), apply it directly under your brows. This will further define your brows and shape your arch. This is the secret to clean, beautiful brows! (This trick works well if you don't have time to tweeze and are in a rush.)

Add some finishing touch ups and TA DA! You're all done!

Admire your new, beautiful brows!!

& there it is, exactly how my brows look without makeup! I'm not brave enuff to show them though lol, I've seen this tutorial & thought the concealer part was really interesting. I've done it once but it wasnt the greatest, I think the hardest part is putting on foundation afterward & blending it in with the concealer, its just so hard for me 'cause I'm used to foundation first.

I love this though, they look perfect! & sorry for writing you a chapter book! lol <3

Yayy, thanks for posting this! I have to try that concealer trick, I'm trying to grow my brows out and reshape them, and the little hairs look so unruly and ungroomed, I'm going to try this!

This is great ! i do the same things except i don't do the 1st and last steps. no translucent powder and no concealer and i use maybelline brow pencil and either brown maybelline powder or kat von d's brown e/s. but i'll try it :) the only thing is can you give me a suggestion. see my eyebrows aren't like yours. mine are also thin, BUT the hairs are long and short. and my eyebrows aren't symetrical:( sometimes i do all that work and then in close-up pictures like parts of the brow seem darker than others. see... the ends and the very start of my eyebrows don't really grow back :( let me know if you have any tips. thanks :)
